This is where my passion lies. In stories.
I love a stunning image as much as anyone. And I even occasionally capture one. But not that often, and really, it’s not the thing I’m especially good at. And that’s not me being modest; I’m a fine photographer. But the thing I’m really good at is listening and waiting and believing there’s a story within the mundane worth capturing. And then I stick around long enough to collect

Just like a single word can be heart-stopingly powerful. Grief. Adopt. Race. Empathy.
are significantly lengthier than the norm because I love creating a collection of images that work together to tell a story.
Just like a single word can be powerful on it’s own, so is an individual image. But just like you surrounded that word by a collection of other words to create a story that gives the word new meaning and greater insight, I like to present a collection of images that, when taken over the course of a slow afternoon, and paired with the subject’s surroundings and siblings, their fury and their furniture, their laughter and legos, add up to something of greater meaning, a story rich with insight.
